# LANE FOUR ATHLETICS Logo Asset Pack

Date: 2026-07-05

## Purpose

This document defines the current logo files to send with first sample requests.
The SVG files are outlined paths. They do not rely on live SVG text, installed
fonts, or browser font substitution.

These assets are ready for sample-stage vendor proofing, not final trademark or
mass-production artwork approval.

## Files

| `assets/logo-formal.svg` | Formal identity for documents, footer, about copy | 160-240 mm wide |
| `assets/favicon.svg` | Browser favicon and small digital use | Digital only |

## Color Rules

- Dark charcoal mark on greige, natural, ash, and off-white bodies.
- Off-white mark on black and charcoal bodies.
- No accent color in Drop 01.
- The logo SVGs use `currentColor` where possible, so the same paths can render
  in dark or reversed color contexts.

## Vendor Handoff Notes

Send the logo assets together with:

- `docs/production/drop-01-line-sheet.md`
- `docs/production/drop-01-sample-request.md`
- `docs/production/drop-01-production-spec.md`
- `docs/production/vendor-outreach-pack.md`

Ask each vendor:

1. Whether SVG is acceptable for proofing.
2. Which final production format they need: AI, EPS, PDF, PNG, or another file.
3. Whether they can return a placement proof before producing samples.
4. Whether any minimum stroke, minimum gap, or curved-surface distortion risk
   applies to the chosen product.

## Preflight

- All logo SVGs have no `<text>` elements.
- All logo SVGs have no `font-family` dependency.
- All product-facing marks are path-only.
- Final typography approval can still change these outlines. If the brand font
  changes, regenerate the path assets before final production.
